DEAR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS,
It is an honor and a privilege to represent Ward 8 on the Council of the District of Columbia. Since taking office, I have focused on engaging the Ward 8 community and improving the quality of life for residents across DC. I look forward to working with you as we improve the safety and security of our neighborhoods; improve education options for our children; and beautify our environment.
I know that these things can only be accomplished together—working as a cohesive unit and team. Community requires the people and the government to work together. It is my hope that you will be active and engaged in our community and with my office so we can help Ward 8 Rise!
I want to stay connected with you– I want to hear your concerns. I am committed to fighting for Ward 8 residents to get the resources we need and deserve. Please take a look around my site. Join a leadership team; subscribe to “The Rise” Newsletter; and learn about other ways you can get involved in Ward 8 and make your voice heard legislatively.
Together In Service,
Councilmember, Ward 8
